Having a meeting with some followers in the Plum Village opened my eyes to a new world. I have met people from all backgrounds and yet with the same vision, world peace and stopping the global warming. There was an accepting, tolerant and open atmosphere in the meeting. The love, joy and peace that I sensed among them was extraordinary. All of the conflicts between dualistic ideas and all of the boundaries among people were dissolved in such kind of community. Isn’t that the world that we should strive for?
The ego identifies with having, but it’s satisfaction in having is a relatively shallow and short-lived one. Concealed within it remains a deep-seated sense of dissatisfaction, of incompleteness, of “not enough”. “I don’t have enough yet.”
When we attach our identity to forms, like our body, our religion, our gender or even ideaologies and thought forms,we will always want more. Intolerance and separation will result. This is the root of human dysfunction nowadays. To liberate ourselves, we need to cultivate awareness within.

All is love. With love comes understanding. With understanding comes patience. And then time stops. And everything is now.
